Fall Season Comforts

Filling pots with fall flowers
Collecting fire wood
A welcoming pumpkin at the front door
Switching to warm fuzzy blankets

Along with the changing of the season there's the changing of your home decor. It's easy to change up for the season by adding a few key items to your space. Heavier pillows such as wool, flannel, velvet or mongolian lamb give a warm seasonal appeal to any sofa. Cozy up with thick faux-fur throws or just use stacks of vintage wool plaid blankets as an accent or color. Pots of fall flowers, a harvest pumpkin, fallen leaves or pampas grass can welcome you at the front door. The final product will leave you wanting to cozy up by the fire with a cup of your favorite tea.

Beautiful photos! Just this week made your Pumpkin Bread recipe. It is my favorite and the only one I make since you posted the recipe a few years ago. The house smells so wonderful when it bakes. Thanks for sharing it.
